BACKSAFE AUSTRALIA WARRANTY
For a period of 12 months from date of delivery Backsafe Australia warrants to the original purchaser of Materials Handling Equipment, that said equipment will be free of defects in materials and workmanship as determined at the date of shipment by Backsafe Australia. Batteries and castors are an exception and have a period of 3 months warranty from date of purchase.
After notification of an issue by the end user, Backsafe Australia will have the option to schedule a technician to inspect, replace or repair defective parts at the buyer’s facility; request defective part or machine to be returned to Backsafe Australia for inspection, replacement or repair; or immediately send a replacement part.
Not covered by this warranty:
Hydraulic hoses, electrical cabling and wheels;
Consumables such as globes or similar items;
Any alterations to the equipment and any parts not provided by Backsafe Australia;
Equipment being used in improper environment, such as cold storage, overheating, dusty and moist/damp areas;
Equipment damaged by improper storage, using or accident;
Equipment used beyond rated capacity;
Equipment not maintained and serviced appropriately;
Failure to follow operation manual instruction.
Backsafe Australia will not accept liability for loss of use or for any indirect or consequential damages. In no event does the liability of Backsafe Australia exceed the purchase price of the equipment. Backsafe Australia determines the type of service personnel and associated services for warranty satisfaction only if: examination of the product concludes the fault or defect has not been caused by neglect, misuse, improper operation, unauthorized repair or alteration, incorrect maintenance, abnormal deterioration of the equipment or parts due to the physical environment, accident or improper installation by purchaser.
