Challenge: The Rocks Laboratory Team at SGS Australia provide standard field and laboratory testing on rock, concrete, cement and aggregates for their clients. The soil and rock samples were being stored in plastic bags, strapped onto pallets, which was untidy and didn’t provide protection for the samples. They needed a better way to store them.
Solution: The WERKS® Clamp On Pallet Cages were used to provide a neat housing for the Laboratory Team’s pallets – the mesh sides provide protection for the samples, and there isn’t any need to strap the contents, saving on packaging materials. The mesh construction also allows contents to be seen easily. When the pallets aren’t in use, the cage sides are simply removed and stored away.
